Diggerman Challenges
Heavy Lifting – Just Whistle Challenge
Your Mission
Your team will step into the role of a professional Dogger (or Dogman), who attaches loads to cranes and guides the operator using whistle signals. You’ll learn the basics of non-verbal communication before taking on challenging lifting tasks with slings and chains.
Major Outcomes
- Improved verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Clear, concise instructions that prevent mistakes.
- Developing trust in the person guiding the load.
- Understanding the importance of planning before execution.
- Experiencing the thrill of working alongside a 25-tonne crane.

Can We Build It? – Yes We Can Challenge
Your Mission
Experience firsthand what it’s like to be a Rigger. Working at heights with elevated work platforms, winches, and steel structures, your team will rely on whistles and two-way radios to complete construction tasks under pressure.

Digging for Gold Challenge
Your Mission
Your mission: uncover a hidden “gold deposit” using heavy machinery and teamwork. Guided by maps and locators, your team will safely operate excavators, loaders, and haul trucks to shift earth, strategize, and achieve your goal.

Dirt & Lift Obstacle Course Challenge
Your Mission
Your team will tackle a disaster scenario: getting emergency medical supplies into an earthquake-affected zone where roads and utilities are destroyed. You’ll operate a variety of machines to repair infrastructure, overcome obstacles, and proudly raise your team’s flag on the tower crane once complete.
